One person was killed in a motorcycle crash in Cowlitz County on Sunday night, according to Washington State Patrol.
The crash happened at about 7:42 p.m. on State Route 503, near milepost 44. WSP says an investigation showed a Kawasaki KL 650 was traveling south on SR-503 when the motorcycle left the roadway for unknown reasons and went down an embankment.
The operator of the motorcycle, identified as 22-year-old Grant E. Jagelski, of Battle Ground, was ejected during the crash and died at the scene. WSP says Jagelski was wearing a helmet when he crashed.
