Emergency crews responded to a fatal car crash Saturday morning in Greenville.
Greenville Police said the crash happened at about 8:21 a.m.
A truck traveling on Academy street crashed into the passenger side door of an SUV that was turning left onto N. Main Street from Academy Street, police said. The SUV then crashed into a light pole causing the traffic lights at the intersection to malfunction.
Karen Burroughs Boyce, 62, of Easley, was killed during the crash and pronounced dead at the scene, according to police. She was a passenger in the SUV.
