Hamden, CT : Eight people injured after 4-car crash in New Haven County on Wednesday, Nov 11, 2015

Police say eight people, including three children, were hospitalized in Connecticut after a four-car crash.

It happened around 9 p.m. Wednesday in Hamden and closed the road between Skiff Street and Connelly Parkway.

Police say one person was thrown from the vehicle and other victims had to be removed from their cars by firefighters. Five adults and three children were taken to the hospital. It's not clear what their conditions are.

Authorities are investigating.
