DES MOINES, IA : Single-vehicle crash on I-80 eastbound at mile marker 138 on Saturday, 30th November, 2019

Officials have identified the individual who died and those injured in the single-vehicle crash in Polk County on Saturday morning.

According to Iowa State Patrol Sgt. Alex Dinkla, the accident happened around 1:30 a.m. on I-80 eastbound at mile marker 138.roopers found a Chevy Silverado rolled over.

Taylor Babcock, 20, of Mitchelville died in the crash. Kelcey Perry, 21, of Bondurant, Brandon Bryant, 21, of Pleasant Hill, and William Hoyle, 20, of Bondurant, were injured in the crash. Only Perry was wearing her seat belt.

The driver, Spencer Dayton, 20, of Altoona, was not injured.

Officials confirm the four people who were injured went to area hospitals with minor to serious injuries.
