Dodge City, KS: Troopers identify victim in fatal SW Kansas crash on Thursday, July 23rd 2015

Troopers have identified a woman killed Thursday afternoon in a crash in southwest Kansas.It happened just before 4:30 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of Highway 400 near the town of Ford in Ford County. The Kansas Highway Patrol said the crash involved a 2012 Ford Focus and a tractor-trailer. But the specifics of the accident are still under investigation.Mary K. Nichols, 58, of Arkansas City was driving the Ford Focus. She was pronounced dead at the scene.The 54-year-old driver of the semi was not hurt.
