Topeka, KS : Fatal crash reported late Monday in Marion County in central Kansas on Monday, January 30th 2017

A head-on crash late Monday in south-central Kansas has resulted in at least one death, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.

The crash was reported at 11:18 p.m. on US-56 highway, about 7 miles north of Marion.

The patrol said a vehicle traveling south on US-56 crossed the center line and collided with a second vehicle.

No further details were available as of 5 a.m. Tuesday.
