Center Point,AL : 12-year-old killed in Thanksgiving Eve car crash in Bibb County on November, Wednesday 22th 2017

A single-vehicle crash killed a 12-year-old and injured two others Wednesday afternoon in Bibb County.

A 2006 Chevrolet Impala left the roadway and overturned on Alabama 25 about eight miles north of Centreville at 1:50 p.m. Wednesday, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

The 12-year-old was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the car. Responders declared the child dead at the scene.

The 16-year-old driver and an 8-year-old passenger were both injured in the crash and transported to Bibb Medical Center for medical treatment. The crash is under investigation.
