Lucedale, MS : One person died in George County accident on Saturday afternoon, April 23, 2016

Mississippi State Highway Patrolman Chase Elkins has confirmed that at least one person has died following an accident in George County Saturday afternoon.

According to Elkins, a 2003 Ford F-250 was traveling north on Hwy. 63 when a pickup truck traveling east on Ernest-Pipkins Rd. crossed over Hwy. 63.

The front of the F-250 collided the the passenger's side of the pickup truck, killing the driver, who has been identified as 51-year-old Bryan Williamson of Lucedale.

Both passengers in the F-250 were taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries.
