Vernon Township, NJ : Crawford County crash injures 5 on Friday, 19th October 2018

Five people were injured on Friday afternoon in a two-vehicle, head-on crash in Vernon Township, Crawford County, police reported.

The crash was reported at 2:34 p.m. on Perry Highway. Police said the driver of a vehicle heading south on Perry Highway made a left turn into the path of a northbound vehicle.

Rescue crews freed one person who was trapped inside one of the vehicles.

All of the injured people were taken to Meadville Medical Center for treatment, police reported.
