Aiken, S.C : One person injured, three transported by ground after wreck on New Holland Road in Aiken County on Wednesday afternoon, March 22, 2017

South Carolina Highway Patrol and the Aiken County Sheriff's Office are investigating a wreck Wednesday afternoon on New Holland Road in Aiken County, according to the S.C. Highway Patrol's website.

A Chevrolet Tahoe with several people inside hit a tree, according to the Aiken County Sheriff's Office.

Chief George Laiacona, of Coutchon Fire and Rescue, said four passengers were in the vehicle.

A female passenger was airlifted and a male driver and two children were transported by ground, Laiacona said.
