SHREVEPORT, LA : Vehicle overturns in early morning crash near school on April, Thursday 6th 2017

Police are on the scene of a two-vehicle crash that ended with one vehicle overturned on its side.

The accident took place four blocks from Judson Elementary School at the intersection of Judson Street and Mertis Avenue in Shreveport.

A picture from a KSLA News 12 reporter on the scene shows a tan colored Chevrolet SUV on its passenger side. Another vehicle sustained damaged to the front end of the vehicle.

Police say three people were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
