Campbellsburg ,KY : I-71 Reopens following fatal crash near Campbellsburg on Wednesday evening ,july 1st 2015

I-71 southbound was completely shut down near Campbellsburg, Kentucky, following a fatal, multiple vehicle crash, according to Kentucky State Police -- but the road reopened just after 7:30.

Just after 6 p.m. Wednesday evening, police said three people had been injured and one person had died in car crash that involved four commercial vehicles and four cars.

Police say the closure is at the 36 mile marker, two miles north of Campbellsburg.

At least two people were helicoptered from the scene, according to police.
