LANE COUNTY, OR : One person was killed in a crash along Highway 126 on Monday, 1st January 2018

Oregon State Police say one person was killed in a crash along Highway 126 early Monday morning.
The crash was reported around 2:30 a.m. on Highway 126-E near milepost 48.5.
Troopers say the driver of a Nissan Pathfinder was traveling eastbound when they lost control, crossed over the westbound lanes, crashed into a tree and caught on fire.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
