Elk City, OK : 21-year-old man dies after Beckham County crash on Sunday, January 4, 2015

A Woodward man died Sunday after a crash in Beckham County, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

About 8 a.m. Sunday, James Randal Brown, 21, was driving south on State Highway 34 about a mile north of Elk City. The vehicle went off the road and rolled twice, troopers said.

Brown, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken to a hospital in Elk City where he died, troopers said.

A passenger, Jason Howard Baker, 38, who also was not wearing a seat belt, was taken by helicopter to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City and admitted, troopers said.
