ANDERSON COUNTY, SC : Deadly motorcycle accident along I-85 kills 1 person on Sunday, 14th April 2024

A 21-year-old has died following an accident involving a motorcycle along I-85.

According to the Anderson County coroner, the crash happened Sunday at 3:45 p.m. near Exit 20.

Highway Patrol officials said the driver of the motorcycle was traveling north when it collided with the rear-end of a pick-up truck, which caused him to be thrown off.

The driver of the motorcycle has been identified as 21-year-old Zackary Michael Stelk of Simpsonville. Stelk died on the scene, according to the coroner.
