Sarasota, FL : One person was died in Tanker truck crash on Friday September 12th 2014.

The driver who crashed a tanker last month on Interstate 75 has died. Thomas Grattan, 71, of Brooksville, died at 12:20 a.m. Friday at Blake Medical Center from injuries sustained in the crash, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. Grattan was driving southbound on Aug. 27 near mile marker 209 early that morning, when the tanker veered through the median and across the northbound lanes, crashing into a ditch.
