Queens ,NY : SUV jumps curb during two-car collision, seriously injures 2 pedestrians on Tuesday ,july 7th 2015

A two-car collision sent an SUV careening onto a Queens sidewalk Tuesday, seriously injuring two women, cops said.

The Toyota Rav4 jumped the curb and rammed into the women — pinning one — after it was struck by a Long Island Jewish Hospital truck while turning from Northern Blvd. onto 162nd St. in Murray Hill at 5:30 p.m., police said.

“Her legs were pinned under the wheels of the car, her head smashed down onto the sidewalk,” witness Vlasios Safarickas said of one victim.

The driver, who gave his name as Tang, said he lost control of the vehicle after the collision.
