Jackson, MS : Clinton school bus involved in accident Wednesday morning, March 8, 2017

One child complained of pain after a Clinton school bus was involved in a a two-vehicle accident Wednesday morning.

The accident happened in the Northhaven neighborhood in Clinton, according to the Clinton Public School District Public Information Officer.

The bus was en route to Lovett Elementary, Clinton Junior High and Sumner Hill Junior High, carrying students in grades 6-9. The child who complained of pain was released to her parents. No other injuries were reported and other students were transported to school.

The bus did sustain damage to the side.
