Jonesboro, AR : One person injured in two-car crash near Highway 63 on Friday, April 24, 2015

The Jonesboro Police Department and other emergency responders worked a crash on Dan Avenue near the intersection of Highway 63.

According to dispatchers, the accident happened shortly before 4:30 Friday evening.

One person was taken to the hospital.

Police said two cars were involved in the accident.

Westbound traffic was reduced to one lane and slow for about an hour.
