Lake City, S.C : Two people killed in crash in Florence County on Monday night, November 24, 2014

Two cars collided head-on on Morris Street near Cooktown Road in Lake City about 6:45pm Monday. According to Florence County Coroner Keith von Lutcken, one of the drivers, Delphia Evon Redden, 53, of Cades and the passenger in the other car, Staley McElveen, 19, of Turbeville were killed. The 17-year-old driver of the car McElveen was riding in was taken to the hospital. His condition has not been released. The wreck is under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol's MAIT team. Charges are pending that investigation. source : Two people killed in wreck in Lake City
