Charlotte, NC : One seriously injured in crash, inbound I-485 shut down Thursday November 5 2015

At least one person was taken to the hospital after a vehicle crash on I-485 in west Charlotte Thursday evening.
The accident happened on the inner loop of I-485 near Moores Chapel Road around 7:30 p.m. Medic confirmed that one person was taken to Carolinas Medical Center from the scene with very serious injuries. That person's name has not been released.
Officials have not released much information about the wreck, but at the scene it appeared at least two vehicles were involved. Traffic on I-485 was completely stopped.
Troopers have not said what may have led to the crash or if any other injuries were reported.
