Claremont ,NH :44-year-old Christa Osgood killed and another injured after being struck by van on Friday night, September 4th 2015

Police say a pedestrian has died and another has been injured after being struck by a van in Claremont.

The accident happened shortly before 9 p.m. on Friday night.

44-year-old Christa Osgood, of Claremont, was killed. Police say 45-year-old Kenneth Lavigne of Newport was hospitalized in stable condition with life-threatening injuries.

Authorities say the driver of the van is cooperating with the investigation.
