EUCLID, OH : Man dies in early morning crash on I-90 in Euclid on Monday, 22nd February 2021

A man died in early Monday crash on Interstate 90, Euclid police said.

The crash happened about 8:30 a.m. Monday on I-90 east near the Ohio 2 split. Joseph Sasek II, 49, of Eastlake, died in the crash, according to police.

Sasek did not hit any other cars when he crashed, police said.

The crash caused a stretch of the highway to be shutdown for several hours.

Euclid police Capt. Mitch Houser said police and the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
