Bond Hill, OH : Motorcyclist seriously injured in Bond Hill crash on Sunday afternoon, November 6, 2016

A man was seriously injured Sunday afternoon after police say he was ejected from his motorcycle after a crash in Bond Hill.

The crash happened in the 4900 block of Reading Rd. around 3:30 p.m., police said.

According to police, Ronneil Rodgers, 41, was driving a Mazda Protege north on Reading Road when he changed lanes and was struck by a Suzuki motorcycle driven by 28-year-old Demetrius Dukes Jr.

Police say Dukes was ejected from his motorcycle upon impact. The motorcycle then slid across the road and into a parking lot, where it struck a parked Nissan Sentra that was occupied by 26-year-old Shakiel Ford.

Dukes was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. He was transported to UC Medical Center, where he was listed in critical condition, police say.

Rodgers and his passenger, Yolanda Taylor, 38, were not injured.

Police said excessive speed appears to a factor in the crash.

The Cincinnati Police Department Traffic Unit is continuing the investigation.
