Reno, NV : Driver was arrested after fatal crash on Seneca Drive on June 13th 2014

The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jesse Michael Todd II, age 51, of Sun Valley Friday night for Driving Under the Influence Resulting in Substantial Bodily Harm following a vehicle versus bicyclist accident on Seneca Drive west of Virginia Street.

The Sheriff’s Office Major Accident Investigation Team (M.A.I.T.) is investigating the accident which occurred shortly after 9:00 p.m. on Friday, June 13, 2014. According to investigators, Todd was driving eastbound on Seneca when he crossed over to the wrong side of the rode striking the bicyclist.

The bicyclist, described as a 16-year-old male, was transported to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.

After failing a field sobriety test, Todd was arrested and transported to the Washoe County Detention Facility where he was booked without incident.
