JEFFERSON COUNTY, MO : 1 dead in Jefferson County car crash on Saturday, 19th October 2024

A Hillsboro man is dead after a single-car crash Friday.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, at around 8:50 p.m. Friday, a 2007 Honda Fit was traveling southbound on Klondike Road when it veered off the left side of the road and struck a fence and a tree.

The driver, Aaron D. Phipps, 29, of Hillsboro, Missouri, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash investigation was handled by MSHP Troop C.
