Ohio County, IN : Motorcyclist dead after Ohio County crash on Saturday, July 5, 2014

A 23-year-old motorcyclist died Saturday after a crash in Ohio County, Indiana, officials say.

Larry David Jones III was driving on Nelson Road at about 1:15 p.m. when his motorcycle crossed the center line and collided with a Ford Explorer. Jones, of Greendale, Indiana, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a news release from the Ohio County Sheriff's Department.

Edward McCord, 54, of Vevay, Indiana, was driving the Explorer. An official from the sheriff's department could not immediately comment on his condition.
