Kent, WA : Pedestrian suffers life-threatening injuries in Kent Saturday night on July 5, 2014

A 40-year-old Kent man was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries Saturday night after a hit-and-run accident.

Police say the man was struck while crossing the road at about 10 p.m. by a white sedan. He was treated at the scene by emergency personnel before being transported to an area hospital.

Police are searching for the driver of the vehicle, who fled the scene.
