Baton Rouge, LA : A crash on the Mississippi River Bridge on Tuesday, July 4, 2017

A crash on the Mississippi River Bridge late Tuesday sent one person to a hospital with minor injuries, WBRZ reported.

Two westbound lanes were closed after the accident, creating a traffic snarl as Baton Rouge's nearby Fourth of July fireworks display and celebration was wrapping up Tuesday night
