A deadly crash is under investigation in Colorado Springs.
Around 9 p.m. Saturday, the Colorado Springs Police Department responded to Briargate Parkway and Chapel Hills to a two-car crash. Police say a car was traveling eastbound on Briargate, while another westbound car was trying to turn left onto southbound Chapel Hills, when they collided in the intersection.
Both drivers were taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, where one died. Police say based on witness accounts, speed appears to be a contributing factor in this crash.
