PETERSBURG, VA : Crash, overturned vehicle on I-95 causes delays on Wednesday, 21st June 2023

A crash involving an overturned vehicle on Interstate 95 caused delays for drivers in Petersburg Wednesday morning.

The crash was first reported around 7 a.m. and was located on I-95 North near the Bank Street exit.

According to VDOT, the south left shoulder, left lane and right shoulder were closed. At one point, VDOT reported a 1-mile-long backup.
