A young girl and her father were killed in a two-vehicle collision in Alabama Saturday.

According to a report from Lee County Coroner Bill Harris, killed were 36-year-old Arlo Burton and 5-year-old Armani Burton of Dadeville, Ala.

The report says the collision occurred around 12:30 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. Highway 280 West and County Road 89 South, just inside Tallapoosa County.

Both Burton and his daughter died at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Ala..
