Durango, CO : Farmington Hill crash hurts 2 on Friday, 4th November 2016

Farmington Hill was closed for about an hour Friday after multiple vehicles crashed near the top, including a car that may have fled the scene.

The crash occurred about noon on U.S. Highway 550 just south of Durango city limits. The road reopened about 1:05 p.m.

Two people were injured.

There were multiple conflicting scanner reports about the severity of the crash and descriptions of the hit-and-run vehicle, including whether there was a hit-and-run vehicle.

Police were searching for a gray or a maroon Toyota Prius, possibly with New Mexico license plates, heading north on Highway 550 and east on County Road 220.
