Tempe, AZ: Man at bus stop struck by car on Priest Drive loses leg on Sunday, July 19th 2015
Priest Drive has reopened between US 60 and Baseline Road after a serious injury crash early Sunday morning.According to Tempe Fire, it appears the collision occurred between a vehicle and a pedestrian before 5:30 a.m.Officials tell ABC15 a man was waiting at the bus stop when a vehicle struck him. The car rolled, injuring a man and woman inside the car.The man at the bus stop suffered a partial leg amputation and was immediately taken to a trauma center. He lost his leg, officials confirmed.Tempe Fire says alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.
