Ocala,FL : Mercedes driver killed in head-on wreck on February, Monday 12th 2018

A 35-year-old Summerfield man was killed just before noon Monday in a head-on collision on County Road 42 just east of Southeast 130th Avenue.

Jason Richard Burridge was westbound on CR 42 in a 2013 Mercedes-Benz C250 when he crossed the center line and collided with an eastbound 2007 Toyota 4Runner, the Florida Highway Patrol reported. Both vehicles caught fire.

Burridge was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver — Robert Ross Blystone, 69, of Murphy, North Carolina — was taken to Ocala Regional Medical Center, where he was listed in serious condition. His passenger, Marina Richardson, 68, also of Murphy, also was in serious condition at ORMC, the patrol reported.
