Lexington, MA : Two people critically injured in wrong-way crash in Route 128 Lexington on Tuesday January 12 2016.

Two people have been critically injured in a crash on Route 128 in Lexington caused by a vehicle traveling south on the northbound side of the highway.
State police say the crash occurred at about 4:30 a.m. Tuesday just before the exit to Route 3.
A Hyundai Accent driven by a 20-year-old Wayland woman and a Chevrolet Cobalt driven by a 27-year-old Dracut man were involved.
Both drivers were taken to the hospital in critical condition.
It is unclear which vehicle was in the wrong lane, and why it was on the wrong side of the highway.
