A Baxter County man was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Fulton County.

Luke Allen Gessner, 23, of Mountain Home died on Thursday, according to Arkansas State Police.

The crash report states the incident happened on U.S. 62 a half mile west of Salem just before 5 a.m.

Police state Gessner was driving a pickup truck east when it went off the road and lost control.

The truck then crossed U.S. 62 and entered a west bound ditch. Following that, it struck a large culvert and partially overturned before going airborne. Police said the truck then hit a large tree.

Weather conditions were rainy and the road was wet at the time of the crash, according to ASP.
