MORGAN COUNTY, AL : 37-year-old woman killed in two-vehicle wreck in Morgan County on Friday, 8th March 2024

A two-vehicle wreck that happened on Friday morning has claimed the life of Crane Hill woman.

Kayla Hanes, 37, was fatally injured when she crashed into a 2016 Peterbilt tractor-trailer. She was pronounced dead on the scene.

The crash happened at 10:13 a.m. on I-65 near the 322 mile marker within the Falkville city limits.

Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Patrol Division are continuing to investigate.
