Memphis, TN : Multiple vehicles involved in crash on Jackson Ave. and Charles St. on Tuesday evening, November 11, 2014

An accident Tuesday evening at Jackson Avenue and Charles Street sent one person to the hospital, and some witnesses say an aggressive driver is to blame. "I closed my eyes, and just held on tight," said Patrick Purcell. Purcell says as he was driving down Jackson Avenue when a driver in a Mercury Sable crashed into his car. He also says another car may have been involved. Purcell says the driver who hit him was trying to get away from another car that was chasing her. He says she was forced to change directions when she lost control and hit him. "She had been trying to get away from this guy for a while," said Purcell. “Did a u-turn down the road, apparently did another u-turn." Police are still investigating the accident.
