WILMINGTON, MA : Man suffers life-threatening injuries following Wilmington crash on Interstate 93 on Sunday, 12th January, 2020

A 34-year-old Waltham man suffered life-threatening injuries when he was ejected from his car in a rollover crash on Interstate 93 in Wilmington early Sunday morning, authorities say.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation as of Sunday afternoon, according to a State Police press release.

State Police from the Andover barracks responded to the single-vehicle crash on the ramp from Interstate 93 northbound to Route 125 at about 2:30 a.m. Police said they found the man had been ejected from a 2003 Toyota Camry Solara.

The driver, who has not been identified by police, was the sole occupant of the car. He was transported to Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington.
