CEDAR LAKE, IL : Illinois woman killed, M'ville man hurt in crash on Sunday, January 29th 2017

An Illinois woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash early Sunday near 151st and Wicker avenues, officials said.

Julia Hansen, 84, West Chicago, died at the scene from blunt force trauma, according to the Lake County coroner's office.

Officers responded to the crash about 6:10 a.m. after an initial report of a vehicle on fire, department spokesman Mark Back said.

Hansen was ejected from her 2001 Oldsmobile, police said.
