DU QUOIN, IL : Driver, 4 students injured after bus vs semi-truck crash near Du Quoin on Thursday, 9th November 2023

Crews were on scene of a crash near Du Quoin where a school bus reportedly crashed with a semi truck.

Emergency crews were at the scene along Route 51 north of Du Quoin at Kimmel Road. near Sunfield Baptist Church.

The Du Quoin Police Department said the road will be closed for a long duration of time due to the major road vehicle accident. They also said drivers should seek alternative routes until the roadway is reopened.
