MAYNARDVILLE, TN : Fatal crash on state route 33 near Halls and Maynardville on Wednesday, 30th January 2019

One person is dead following a crash involving two vehicles in Union County, according to Tennessee Highway Patrol.

TDOT SmartWay first reporting the crash on state route 33 near Halls and Maynardville at 6:18 p.m. in that both directions of traffic were blocked and being redirected to alternate routes.

THP saying at 7:20 p.m. that both directions of the highway near Possum Valley Road remain closed as they continue to investigate the crash.
