ELIZABETHTOWN, KY : 1 dead, 2 injured after crash in Elizabethtown on Wednesday, 25th September 2024

A woman is dead after a crash in Elizabethtown Wednesday evening.

Elizabethtown Police responded to a serious vehicle collision at the intersection of Ring Road and Dixie Highway just before 7:30 p.m.

The initial investigation determined that a Hyundai going eastbound on Ring Road collided with a Chevrolet pick-up truck which had stopped at the intersection with Dixie Highway.

The woman driving the Hyundai died at the scene. The man driving the pick-up and his passenger, a juvenile, were taken to Baptist Health Hardin and are expected to live.

The Elizabethtown Police Department is actively investigating the crash.
