Wapakoneta, OH : Indiana man killed in I-75 crash in Wapakoneta on Saturday morning, November 1, 2014

An Indiana man was killed in a crash Saturday morning on Interstate 75 in Auglaize County. The Ohio State Highway Patrol Wapakoneta Post is the single-vehicle fatal crash. The crash happened around 7 a.m. on I-75 near mile post 111, according to OSP. Spencer Dewaine Edwards, 21, from Anderson, Ind., was driving a 1996 Saturn four-door sedan northbound on I-75 when his vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway, according to OSP. Officials said the vehicle drove through the ditch and struck a cement bridge abutment. Edwards was not wearing his seat belt, officials said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
