Attleboro, MA : One injured in a two-vehicle accident near the Pawtucket line on Tuesday morning, February 7, 2017

One person was injured in a two-vehicle accident that involved a truck Tuesday morning and that shut down Washington Street (Route 1) in South Attleboro near the Pawtucket line.

The accident was reported just after 6 a.m. in the area of 1096 Washington St. and Mr. Donuts and near Carleton Street.

A driver was trapped inside a vehicle and taken to Rhode Island Hospital, Providence, with nonlife-threatening injuries, fire officials said.

The accident caused some traffic backup for the morning commute.
