EUGENE, MO : Baring man, pursued by deputies, injured in crash on Tuesday, 6th November 2018

A Baring man being pursued by Miller County deputies crashed his vehicle early morning in Eugene.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports a 2010 Ford truck driven by Travis K. Hettinger, 31, of Baring, was involved in a pursuit with deputies at 2:05 a.m. heading eastbound in Eugene. The patrol said Hettinger lost control of the vehicle which traveled off the right side of the road, across from 37 Eugene Road, and hit multiple concrete blocks.

Hettinger, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken by ambulance to Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City with moderate injuries.
