CANTON, O : Rumford man and Mexico woman die Christmas night in Canton crash on Monday, 24th December 2018

A car crash in Canton killed two people Christmas night, according to the Oxford County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies say they responded Tuesday to a single motor vehicle crash on Canton Point Road. Two people were killed and a third was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.

Deputies say 38-year-old Shawn Hodge from Rumford and 26-year-old Sarah Bosworth from Mexico were killed.

The crash remains under investigation.
