Reading,PA : Two people injured in one-vehicle crash on Route 222 northbound on October, Sunday 1st 2017

Crews were dispatched at about 7:10 a.m. Sunday to Route 222 north, just past the Spring Ridge Drive exit, for a car accident involving one vehicle.
A man and woman were injured Sunday morning when they lost control of their car between the on- and off-ramps for Spring Ridge Drive.

Initial reports indicated the driver was the only person in the car and that he was thrown from the vehicle, but police later said the person who was thrown from the car was a woman in the passenger seat.

Traffic was rerouted to Spring Ridge Drive while crews worked. Police are still investigating to determine what caused the accident.

Both the man and the woman, who have not yet been identified, were taken to Reading Hospital.
