Hooksett,NH : Driver hurt in crash that shut down Smyth Road in Hooksett on April, Sunday 8th 2018

A single-vehicle car crash shut down Smyth Road for much of the afternoon and evening in Hooksett.

Hooksett Police told WMUR a man driving a car crashed into a pole, breaking the pole. He was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.

The crash shut down Smyth Road while Eversource crews repaired the damaged pole.

Police said speed was being looked into as a factor in the crash, but the investigation was ongoing.
